So there it sits in the drawer. I bought this for my hubby, so he can communicate while out and about on the ranch. He won't wear it because he doesn't like the way it fits his ear. At least it didn't cost that much. It does work with our Sam's Club walkie-talkies.
Highly recommended for bicycling. No wind noise, VOX works well with Motorola radio. Price is right.
The only thing that could be make this better is if it had a push to talk (PTT) button to help make it more accessible. This headset is comfortable and the lower hinge keeps it tight and comfortable on the ear. My wife and I use this headset and we are both pleased with them. I still gave it a 5 star rating because of the great price, and it does what is says. After hours of use, I don't notice I have this on at all VS a smashing sensation with some other headsets. It also fits comfortable under both our masks (Vforce Shield and JT Spectra) and over the ear speaker doesn't noticeably obstruct ambient sound critical in stalking other players in airsoft and/or woodsball. But if you really want a PTT button, maybe something would be better. As for my wife and I, we just modified our outfits so our radios are more accessible, and are happy with our purchase.
The product is not usable as it has the wrong size plug. I needed 1/8th and it came with a 3/32nd. The ad discription was incomplete as it failed to indicate what size plug it came with
The next morning my son told me (13 year olds don't tell you much)that they worked "ok" so that would be "great" for the rest of us. I bought two for my son and his friend for their airsoft games. They used them at night with Motorola Talkabouts. Also I'm looking forward to using them on our sailboat for anchor setting. Testing them around the house they worked great, while whispering or talking normally they performed very well.
